Is it possible to remove the date bubble from a modern Rolex without any drama or expense? I assumed they were ground out of one piece but recall reading somewhere here they're glued on and so might be easily removed? Not exactly the same but when I bought a Rolex Date once, the first time I tried to set it, the crown stem came loose. The watch went back to the seller as they wouldn't pay for the repair. I didn't need a 34mm watch after all even with a Buckley Dial.I think you can remove the magnification date bubble completely if you want though I doubt that it is a reasonable option for you. I have also found that resizing and checking bracelets is a job better done by a careful owner than most jewellers! All you need is the right size screwdriver.
