Well, you can all stop holding your breath. The new era smells pretty bad. How bad? YSL l’homme is one of my favorite scents to smell on men. It’s a really sexy citrus/ginger without being too fresh. I think it stands out from some of the heavier more popular scents. It did not smell bad, just not my style. Much like Prada. It smells good, but it does not feel "comfy" to my nose. Not what I want to personally smell like for my own pleasure.
the YSL L'Homme line is transparently developed for the masses. I recently struck it lucky with the Frozen Cologne and I know the standard La Nuit is nice also from having tried it a few times. What about the rest of the range?L'Homme Yves Saint Laurent is a soft subtle delicate gentlemanly sophisticated warm fresh spicy scent. Perfect for an Autumn's day. She sprayed it on a sample and I was smelling it all the way home, smelled Amazing and I bought a bottle. Went out with it and it was a very close Skin scent. About 30 min to an hour after spraying it. Wore it again before a date and my date usually love everything I wear, but she didn't even smell this. It's a lovely fragrance, can be worn anytime of the year. Don't have a nose like others on the sub, but the ginger is lovely and the dry down makes me constantly smell myself. It's very inoffensive and creates a little amosphere around you. Highly recommend this fragrance.
