The Montaigne is at the top of my wish list right now and I am starting to debate between MM and BB for when I make the jump to purchase it. Like you I am quite petite, 5'1" and not even 100lbs soaking wet. Is it worth buying an Alma bb DE in 2023 considering the quality issues of LV canvas bags? I think that the base of the Alma bb sticks out a bit for it to make a good travel bag. I would worry about the base getting scratched or scraped. I think the Pochette Metis or Pallas bb would be a better choice as they lie flatter against the body.
