The only advantage of the Helenarou case is that it has correct crown stem hight as it takes the eta 2824. Some people see the lower crown hight on the cartel cases as a dead giveaway. Unfortunately The helenarou case lugs and crown guards are not as meaty and not quite the right shape. Take everything as a guideline and always try to understand what you are doing before potentially ruining your watch. Ok so after the intro we can start with the project! I will build a medium budget 5513 which in my opinion will result in a pretty decent watch for the money. Decided to fettle my v.1 Cartel 5513 with the infamous stubby crown guards. What I like about this case, compared to the new generation, are the slimmer lugs. Apart from tweaking the crown guards, I relumed the Helenarou dial and combination hand set (Clark hour hand and Helenarou minute hand). I would like to see one of the Helenarou cases up close because I gave up on making a 5513 out of DW cases.a 1520/70 with 5512/13 spec dial leaves a space between the dial and dial seat. If the Helenarou case is accurately made inside, you can forgive quite a bit on the outside. DW cases make a good 5513 with an Eta though.
